Escanaba Jig It!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay area will be hosting the Escanaba Jig It! in the Escanaba harbor on Saturday, January 26th. Top prize is $3000. New this year will be a fish pond under the ice, (trout will be placed in a pen under the ice for the kids to catch.) Entry fee is $30 per hole, (two holes per person, max.) "Jug" Bourdeau tournament
The "Jug" Bourdeau tournament will be held on Little Bay de Noc on February 2nd. Entry fee is $25 per person. Prizes for walleye, perch, and pike. Weigh-in will be held at the Great Lakes Sport and Rec club. Fish must be brought in "fresh." no frozen fish will be allowed. Entry forms available at local bait shops.
