June 7th through the 12th trip

Can anyone give some tips or tricks for our trip? I know we will be fishing 1/16 oz jig tipped with fathead minnows and will also be fishing a slip bobber rig with one having a jig and the other with a plain hook. Will focus on the weed beds and try to find the bait fish. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

One easy tip could be to make sure you are spending the majority of your time fishing areas that are holding good concentrations of baitfish. Use your electronics while motoring around and locate schools of baitfish and spend your time fishing those areas while eliminating the potentially less productive water/areas. Besides bait clouds you can also detect individual walleye holding close to the bottom. Find the food and the predator fish will be there.
