    Default OCT 29th REPORT

Muskie fishing has really picked up....water temps are in the mid to upper forties(at least on the water I am fishing) and muskies are active on suckers and lures. Concentrate on depths anywhere from 17 to 34 feet near hard bottom transitions....also, if there are green weeds available, fish the deep edges. Bulldawgs, Depthraiders, and large spinnerbaits have been working for me, besides suckers. I've had muskies in the boat the last 14 straight days guiding....hope the streak continues.

Fished walleyes Tuesday with Gillespie and we did pretty good in deep mud, I've been marking a lot of fish deep in mud or right on the mud/sand transition....my next walleye will come on a tip up. Redtails worked best, and good luck finding them.

I look for the fall bite to really stay good, we are actually about 5 degrees warmer(water temp) than normal...and no real cold snap for next week....November is going to be great!
