Bass Fishing?

Hey all, I know a lot of you are musky guys but I was wondering if any of you had any experience with bass on Kinkaid. I have already browsed and searched the forum for related posts, but haven't quite found what I am looking for. In early October I have a flw college fishing regional tournament on Lake Kinkaid worth 50,000 dollars which includes a new ranger boat, so the stakes are really high. What I was wondering is if anyone could PM me or post what they have found to be successful tactics on Kinkaid or literally any other knowledge they have of bass fishing during early October. I really appreciate the help and it is forums like this that are extremely helpful to all fisherman.

The lake mostly revolves around shad. Find the shad, find the bass.

I always catch bass on muskie sized twitch baits and gliders in the early spring and the fall...good luck!
