Me and the wife went out off Gladstone yacht club. We sat up in 28 fow near the little group thats out there. Marked lots of fish. the wife hooked into a nice 28in pike. Man was she fat (the pike). I had a lot of lookers and a few very light hits that I couldn't get to hook up. I tried just about everything and still nothing. Better luck next time. The pike was caught on a 2 inch minnow hooked through the tail on a 1/4 oz chartreuse jig. Nothing fancy.

That's a nice looking pike.
When Hell freezes over, I'll ice fish that too!

I caught small pike Sunday (about 15'') that was built more like a bass than a hammer handle. Nothing I've caught in the bay this winter has lacked for food, I know that.
Lots of fat fish around. And not just the females.
