Got out for a day of muskie fishing. Clouds in the morning really had me pumped up but saw just 3 muskies on surface lures with one fish doing a "toilet bowl flush" on the bait right at boatside. Raised 6 other muskies on buckltails and minnow baits during the day. Ended up boating a 37.5" on a Crane Bait. Algae die off continuing with the "green balls" and "slicks" now appearing on just about all the lakes. Cooler weather and wind will diminish the algae eventually. Water temps still 67-71. Weeds in good shape. Fished Petite, Bluff, Marie, Channel and Catherine.
