Does anybody know if the Petenwell Dam is still wide open? What kind effect has it had on fishing near the dam?

Added current in the river usually has a positive influence on the fishing. It stirs up the bugs and disorients the baitfish and makes them gather in eddies and slack water areas where they are easy prey.
