T.F.F. Update
After the latest 3 inch rainfall along with all the winds, Friday's AM action was very slow. Doing just a half day trip, my client and I tried our best to work some wind blown shorelines and log jams with a strong SW wind blowing and all we could come up with were weeds on almost every cast. It wasn't bad enough that the water was very dirty, but the weeds were floating in large clumps making it impossible to get a jig through it. We tried several area's and the only place we could come up with any fish activity was in 6 to 7 feet of water over submerged weeds, and for the most part the majority of the fish were small perch, we managed to get 2 pike along with 1 eye and 1 big redhorse. One of those day's you like to forget.
Back out today for another half day trip, will keep you posted.
