    Without a doubt, the big-pike deep-water bite is certainly "on" right now. While we're catching nice muskies up shallower early and late in the day, it's been worthwhile to fish a few deeper structural elements during the heat of mid-day as numerous pike in the mid 30 thirty inch to 40" inch range have been showing up almost daily. Hybrid and rubber lures (Invaders, Shallow Invaders, Bulldawgs) worked deep have been H-O-T. Who says you have to go to Canada to catch big pike?...
