Default Fishing Report for June 12

Yesterday, got a late start due to thunder and lightning, Guided out on Grindstone for walleye, trolled crawler harnesses in 6-12 feet of water, got about 20 walleye from 14-23 inches, lost two muskies too, one was short, didn't see the other one, I guess it could have been a big pike too.

We were trolling at about 1 mph and had our rigs down about 2-4 feet. almost all the fish ate the bait, didn't have to give them line, had one spurt, all but one line had a fish on it, but not at the same time, when we got one in the net, another rod went off, for all 6 rods. pretty crazy, also had two double headers.

Today, headed up to chequamegon bay to try some walleye fishing, trolled for a bit, got two pike, one little one and the other about 30-31 inches, not too impressed so we headed out to the south channel to try and get some trout or maybe salmon, it was really foggy, and we saw it coming in, so we reeled up lines to get closer to home, when a rod with a clown colored Reef Runner Ripstick, with about 110 feet of line out went off, client fought it hard, and landed a 30 inch 11 pound brown trout, good fish to save the day.

    Good luck,
