Default Great Evening Walleye Jigging Trip With The Durbin's

We had a great group this Evening trip with calm winds and good water quality, fishing was outstanding. We headed out to Turtle reef and began jigging for those toothy critters and had no luck. We proceeded to Toosaint reef where some friends called me in and we spanked big walleyes using purple, black, and john deere green 5/8 oz hair jigs tipped with crawlers. We worked mainly the south hump and slowly picked the jig up with a slow drop. We ended up with over 30 walleyes in the 3-5 lb range and also caught a few smallmouth bass and white bass.
