Thread: First Musky of the Year

Default First Musky of the Year

Only a 36 incher but a fat 36. Fought like a 46. Forget the big lures it was caught on a 1/4 oz jig and 2 inch shiner minnow and 8 lb test and no net. A beautiful weekend at the Angle. Eagles, bears, deer, geese and every other kind of bird was moving around or singing. Highest water temp we found was 52 degrees with most hanging around 45 to 50. Good fishing.
P.s Always call if you don't have a rabc, the customs folks were sitting at the border on the gravel this weekend and have been there seems like alot lately.

    I'm out there......
And loving every minute of it.

Only wearing ankle high shoes. Went shopping for camp supplies at Menards and Fleet Farm today.

Off to destinations two and three tomorrow. Somewhat involves Bret Miller.

Won't be back until after the weekend.

Won't say where I'm going, but southerly travel and sand beaches are involved.

We could access satellite imagery and look for the white leg reflection on the beaches during the day. At night infared technology will help us locate his location. Lots of heat when they are watching Dancing with the Stars in a motel room.

It would be easy to get a fix. Zoom it on the closet topless beach from Oak island. There will be a guy with a camo shirt and rubber boots sitting in a old fold up chair with dark glasses and a smile. That would be our Frank. Of course he wouldn't be looking at anything but a newspaper to keep up on current affairs. Not sure where Laura will be, probably somewhere close, comfortable knowing Frank is happy but harmless.

Not sure, heard 'Scruggs'was near Cozumel but you're right,I'm sure its high priced and risky for those like Frankie that dangle their bait around.
