Weekend Walleyes 2-27-2010

Well made it out Saturday night with pretty good results!! With a little front pushing in, and the full moon the fish were active.

Fished mainly up on a sand hump fishing anywhere from 6' to 7fow. This is a good pre-spawn staging area. Seems like the fish are still going after small shiners. Any tip-up with a bigger shiner doesn't get any hits.

The highlights of the night were a first walleye for my buddies girlfriend, and also we caught a 16" which seems rare since the walleye population has been down. So that was really nice to see.
