question: using cordless drill w/ auger
I was wondering if anyone had experience using a cordless drill with
a manual auger?
How much power/torque is needed?
Can one drill enough holes for a day's ice fishing on one charge?
Any reason I can't use a cheaper brand drill once I have enough power?
Does the cold weather affect the battery life significantly?
I saw one person today drilling holes with a cordless drill and it
appeared to work pretty well. He had an 18v DeWalt drill, and
told me he burned up a 14.4v drill previously.
Thanks,
dft
