Hey,not being a troller,I have a question about Jakes.Yesterday we were cleaning out a shed to get at the snow blower and Bets found a box full of Jakes.Looks like they were all old and probably from the 90s.Basic colors, whites,f Tigers, etc.Still in the original boxes.
They worth anything?Worth keeping? We didn't heave them, just moved them aside for now.
Any input appreciated-I suspect lil value unless perhaps a collector but?????
Darren is half right. The oldest ones with the squared off bill has smaller hook hangers, and were subject to the hooks pulling out.
I don't think they had as bad of a leaking issue as they did in the Clendenning days. Don't know if it was genius, but I think Deboer physically screened a lot of the leakers out.
I would use then. Especially the old orange tiger, and firetiger patterns. Far better than the new paint jobs.
Gopher baits maybe, not Sloppys though.Bets thinks we can grind the bills, remove part ot the rear and replace with Gulp, and come up with something.Nothing ventured, nothing gained. She says there's a box of 8 inchers out there as well.????
Probably sold them to Ted, and he will repackage them and resell them again.
Hope you guys are feeling sorry for me. It's 1 degree out, and I have to take the mail to the Post Office on a four wheeler. It's a Polaris, so no doubt it will start!
OK,OK,I'll quit.
Just trying to get something going today. If spoofing about Jakes and Polaris's doesn't work,I might as well go hunting, weather or not.
Adios for awhile.
Hey, she started on three pulls at 1 degree. Noticed I said pulls. That's because the starter does not work. Again. Has to be replaced every year. I have more money in starters than I paid for the machine.
Quit buying starters, just put a battery in.What did you do with the one I bought you-don't answer, probably used it on your 154 volt trolling motor system.
