    Default Trolling Motor for Sale

I bought a new Minn Kota powerdrive a few weeks ago thinking that I would add the I-Pilot as soon as it was available. Turns out I bought the wrong motor. I bought the original Powerdrive, not the Powerdrive V2. Duh!

Anyway, I ordered a new motor that already has the I-Pilot installed on it, but it won't be here until 12/16. As soon as it arrives, I will be selling the motor that I mistakenly bought. It's only been used 3 times so far. Here are the Specs...

    Minn Kota Powerdrive
    70 Pound Thrust
Universal Sonar US2 (transducer is integral)
    54" shaft
    Manufacturer Part # - 1357575
    Serial No. - WWAF0034634
    3 year warranty.
    $450 + Shipping if necessary.

I run it 24V. I'm not sure if it can be run on 12V or not. I'll check the manual today and let you know.

I checked in the manual, it can only run on 24V.
I also found out that the MK warranty is non-transferrable.
What makes a difference how many people own it? If the product is as good as they say it is, it shouldn't matter.

I just sent mine in for repair.
I broke the "unbreakable composite shaft" on mine.

Warrenty is 3 years on the shaft, I broke it 6 months too late.

I saw that the other day in an advertisement and laughed out loud. I can't believe their lawyers even let them put that in the ads. Obviously they've never met my kids.

Man i wish i was in need of a motor. I have a power drive 55 it is 12 volt, i love mine, been a great motor for me unstopable. If i could find some one who wants that i would snag up the motor in a heart beat. thats a great deal. Maybe if in a few months you still have that we might be able to work somthing out. Good luck selling it.

    Get this..........

After talking to the authorized repair guy I decided to call the company direct and explain what happened.

They are covering it after all and the only cost to me is labor!!!!
They are contacting the repair guy and telling him the scoop.

    YIPPPPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Service like that goes a long way in my book! I was very happy.
