    Question Allegheny River Ice Question

    Can anyone tell me if the Allegheny River freezes (becomes unfishable due to bank ice or floating ice chunks) between Foxburg and Kitanning?

    Not every winter but it definitely can freeze and become unfishable mid to late winter. Parker sees some large ice jams in the winter and kittanning sees more sheet ice especially in slower flowing areas and around the banks.
