    Default Night Fishing During Fall

Has anyone been fishing until 'total darkness' this Fall?

There will still be a night bite happening on many waterways, especially those with clear water. Many of our biggest fish (all species except for bass) that have been caught over the years (during Fall) have been at the 'edge of dark' or immediately after total darkness.

It could be well worth your time to stay out there that extra hour.

    Default Night Time

I hit a nice fish last night at 6:30 on a X RAP (blue and white) at the tailwaters Hemlock side. A lot of head shaking and a real heavy fish. Didn't get to see her though broke me off after about ten minutes. The only bummer about night fishing, sometimes you dont even get to look!

Those tailrace fish are accustomed to feeding after dark since there are so many lights around there and the water is so clear, IMO.
