    Default Musky Fishing Report

The Musky fishing in the Mercer area has continued to be good the last couple of weeks. The majority of the fish have been relating to the deep weed edge. Bucktails and rubber baits like Super D's and Bull dawgs have worked well. If action is slow on the deep weeds try moving to the inside weed edge especially if a front has just moved through, try downsizing baits a little and fish slow. Patrick caught his first ever Musky on a Super D swimbait over deep weeds late in the evening. After a hard fought battle the 41 incher was in the net and then released as always after a couple quick photos. The Full moon next week should provide a good chance to catch that big fish you've been having follow all summer but can't get to strike, try fishing between sunset and moonrise. Good Luck!!
