Thread: Question on regulations

    Default Question on regulations

I've been looking at the regulations and cannot find an answer to my question. Can I try a "double drop-shot" type rig. In other words, two jigs tied to one line. Wouldn't that be a blast to land two Walleyes at once? I want to try this, but I want to make sure it's legal.

    Any advice? Thanks.

Also, on another note.....when a muskie follows you to the boat should only the angler who is being followed do a figure eight, or should everyone try to drop in there to create a ruckus that might trigger a bite? Opinions welcomed.

    yest it would be legal.
you are allowed 1 rod but can have up to 4 hooks ( a treble is considered 1 hook) on a line.

in most situations it is probably better to have just the bait the fish was glued to as it's main attention and also to eliminate fouled lined tangles spooked fish etc.
