    Default River Levels

The Kinzua discharge is at the lowest level so far this Spring and appears to be stabilizing for a few days.

Discharge temps are very near 60 degrees with the temps immediately South of Warren in the low to mid 60's.

Pittsburgh must have gotten wet yesterday because we are having a slight reduction in outflow up here.

Get ready for a serious water dump out of Kinzua......plenty of water backed up and as Pittsburgh begins to drain, the flood gates will open. The ACE already started a slight increase yesterday with plenty more to come.

The river was starting to turn to mud friday afternoon down this way and levels were on the rise. Its a shame i had a bunch of action the few evenings i got out last week.. O well it will move some fish around and give me some time to fish for carps and cats!!! They are always more cooperative with me!

Yes, there is mud but might be fishable.......not sure how bad the Brokenstraw looks. The Conwewango has 0 visibility. I expect the river to be blown out in that area within a couple of days.

Red, Do you think this will clear up for Friday and Saturday ? or should I say will it be fishable ? See ya soon ! The Yellow Breeches is muddy and the Susquehanna is muddy also. The carp must be spawning they are stacked at and actually trying to jump the dam ( Not getting too far ) Later.

We will be able to catch muskies (if they cooperate) no matter what the water levels are..........the "pike gig" we spoke about might suffer under these conditions, however. I will send Wendy an email this morning so we can discuss things.

10-4......Friday will be my first day of summer vacation. Looking forward to it!!

We should put Wendy in the back of the boat so she can hit the spots first. As hard as she fishes, she sure deserves to get slimed this weekend.
