First Trip

Saturday I took my own boat out for its first Muskie fishing trip. Went to Alum and trolled using the basic set up Rob taught me when he took me. I am happy to report we landed and released one very fat 24" very healthy fish. I was postive it was a snag on the first run and we didnt get all the lines cleared quick enough and when I finally turned its head it shot to the surface jumped and tangled in one of the other lines. When the fish was in the net it finally calmed down and I calmed down (a little). I untagled it removed the hooks and released it. From the chatter on the radio lots of nice fish were caught.
