toughest opener yet...

Well twelve of us in 5 boats launched just after midnight...some of us have been fishing the Bay for over 30 years...Not one bite in over six hours! We tried every presentation from trolling three ways to dead sticking with various baits....nada... A first for this fisherman.
There were several boats out there and I saw no indication any did anything...
We did mark fish in deeper water 25-35 fow...but could not get a bite.

I hope the Daylight brings some luck for someone...It was down to 29 degrees air temp in the wee hours and pretty dang miserable... I won't be back for a few days...

That sucks man but hopefully it picks up next week. We get up there next Thursday and will be there for 10 days. Save some Walleye for us to catch please
