I like St Croix for just about everything. I have a GLoomis jerkbait rod and I'm still undecided on that. It's a bit short and the tip is softer than what I'm used to.

I tried a 9ft Musky Innovations rod while throwing dlb 10's for ten hours last fall and it worked pretty nicely.
