Spent a few hours down on Lake Mason this morning looking for some blue gills. We had a good 13-14 inches of good ice. Very little to no snow at all so creepers are a must. Jigged wax worms and spikes while soaking a minnow on a tip-down. Kept three perch 7-10 inches, and 8 Gills 6-8 inches. Returned about a dozen to grow a little. I personally enjoy ice-fishing blue gills no matter what size they are. Mason is a great lake to fish, but you have to do some sorting.

Keep a tight line!!!
