BDNGLSF kids fishing derby

The Bay De Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club will be holding it's annual kids fishing derby on Saturday, July 31st in the Escanaba harbor. This a free event. Registration starts at 11am. Fishing will be between noon and 2pm.

• 2 divisions / 10 years and under and 11 years to 16 years.
• Participants 5 biggest fish will be weighed.
• prizes for top weights in each division.
• prizes for the biggest fish in each division.
• All species can be brought to the scales as long as they are of legal size.
• Kids should bring their own fishing gear, (rods will be provided for anyone that doesn't have one.)
• Bring a container to bring your fish to the scales in.
• Bait will be offered,(worms,) but you can bring your own.
• A parent or guardian must accompany all children.
• Viau's hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be available for all participants.
• Registration and weigh-in will be held on the west side of the harbor, (look for the red BDNGLSF trailer.)
