Lac Vieux Desert Lake is frozen!

Finally, we have ice on Lac Vieux Desert lake and it's cold this morrning. It was -9 F. In the last few days we got a few inches of snow on the ground and I think that very soon we'll be able to use snowmobiles. Winter has come early this year to Northwoods. With a few more cold days and nights like that we will be able to start ice fishing. With first ice on the lake it will be great time for the walleye as usual. Last year December was fantastic and getting walleyes just in front of our resort was not a problem at all. I haven't seen anyone on the lake yet, but I am sure this will change very soon!
