Back out on Friday for a half day trip and despite a NNE wind and cooler temps, the walleye and perch were fairly active. Using 1/8th ounce weedless Invasion jigs tipped with large fatheads, we found walleye and jumbo perch on our first stop in 12 feet of water over submerged wood. After boating some nice fish here, we moved to a 10 foot deep hump covered with many submerged stumps and found another nice eye along with a big jumbo. We then worked a couple of wind blown shorelines and found active walleye and pike scattered on the outside edges of shoreline weeds. At trips end, we had a livewell of nice walleye and jumbo perch, a great morning of fishing.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
