Well we have started fishing beutiful Lake Ontario at Point Breeze NY. King Salmon fishing has started off very well with a 29.5 lb monster king going to the taxidermist on our 1rst trip to a wonderful lady from WV Anita Satathite. Anita battled this huge King Salmon like a pro and it took 35 minutes to land this aggressive pig! We caught 11 Fish total yesterday 6 kings and 5 steelhead trout, all in all a great start to a month of salmon fishing. We mainly fish the 32 line straight out of Point Breeze, and trolled 4 downriggers all around 60-90 feet down using Nuclear Frog, Glow Frog also Glow Ghost. We also used wire out 240 feet using a O dipsy and a white spinn doctor with a white fly and also a nucler frog/nucleur frog fly. Trolling speed was 2.5 at the ball and 2.7-2.9 off gps.
