Some nights on the water cant be described in any other way than just plain fun. That's what last night was as Phil and I had some gentlemen from Phoenix, AZ out for an evening of multi-species action. The weather while a bit warm, was near perfect. Light breeze, lots of sun and a little bit of cloud was a great change from a weekend of rain. From the very first cast the action lit up. We landed dozens and dozens of fish, who knows how many between the two boats with all kinds of species. We had legal walleyes, nice smallmouth bass, a number of crappies, huge bluegills, catfish, perch, even a dogfish! There were a couple of big fish breakoffs in the heavy timber we fished along with a few cold beers and a fish fry at Halfmoon afterwards. It was an awesome day on the water with great company and plenty of good fishing!

Wow - I'll say it was a good night. This year has been one of the best by far with great numbers of fish being caught by our clients and last night was no exception. Justin summed it up very well. Our two boats honestly caught over 100 fish last night and there were some real whoppers in the mix.

Justin and I fished totally different areas with our customers but came up with nearly identicle results. We had giant gills up to 10 inches, a few jumbo perch, some very nice smallies, lots of walleyes and crappies, a few catfish and a fat dogfish.

The evening couldn't have turned out any better except for it being followed up by an awesome fish fry at Halfmoon Bar & Grill.
