I'm in need of new trailer tires. Can anyone give me some recommendations on brands (or brands to stay away from)? I made a few phone calls already and found a pair of Carlilse 205 75 14's for $89.95. Is this a decent tire and price?

I've used carlisle tires on my boat, kayak and equipment trailers at work and haven't had any problems in the last few years. Not sure about the price, but I wouldn't worry about the brand. I usually find my best pricing for trailer tires on ebay.

Take a look at the load rating. B/4ply and C/6ply. You cant go wrong with a C rating regardless of brand. Like Mike said there are some good prices on Ebay. I bought two 14" with white spoked wheels for the same price I found locally for just the tires. I believe they are Load-Star. They came out of Florida. Shipping was cheap and fast. No problems
