Went out on "Pete" this morning, first time on the lake this year. Nice and sunny, but with a 15 mph wind with higher gusts it was a bit cool. Worked dead rods with minnows, and a jig with a ring worm along channel edges. Lots, and lots of "Shorties", and two "keepers". Water temp was 44 towards the south end, and 47 near Monroe Park. The bite was fast early , but slowed quit a bit as the morning progressed.
