    On "The Rock" this morning. Live bait bite was slow so switched to trolling cranks. Had 12 "shorties", 6 crappies, and three stripers. Everything was suspended high in the water column. I ran all my baits 4-5 feet down. Bait style did not seem to make a difference.

    I think that you typically run planer boards, too.

    Which brand of planer boards do you prefer? I have a couple different ones, but would like to try something else.

    Very calm this weekend.The Rock did not have the heavy traffic even with the nightime water show.
