Walleye changes???

I think you are more in tune with what is going on out there, so I'll direct this question more to you, but if anyone else knows anything please chime in.

I read on the DNR website last year that in May 2009 (I think) at their annual congress they passed item #91 (again i think it's the rule number) for changing the bag limit for walleye on CR. Pete might have been in that rule too, don't remember.

Since it passed in May I felt it was too late for a change in 2009, but now in 2010 I didn't see any bag limit changes in the regs.

Have you heard of anything?

I did not make it to the spring hearings to see if it was brought up there, maybe someone else attended and can enlighten us if it was discussed. I asked the fisheries biologist for our area last year and she said she herd of no changes at that time. With the walleye populations being low I would not rule them out in the future.
