Default Sandy Sherman Group Catches Nice Perch

Sandy's Group came up from Cincinnati, OH and what a bunch of great guys, never complained or grumbled about cold weather and extremely large waves. We tryed all sides of Kelley's Island trying to stay out of 6 foot waves and heavy current with not much luck. A friend of ours found some good perch on the Wagon Wheel west of Pellee Island so we headed out there and we really got into some huge Lake Erie Yellow Perch. We used tibble's rigs tipped with lake shiners close to the bottom. The moral of this story is never give up and have a lot of friends who are willing to volunteer information so your trips can be successful too! We left today to go back to our same spot but we had 8-9 footy waves so we turned around and cancelled our trip today due to unsafe conditions.
