I want to thank all of you for also making this a good thread. Everybody was positive and made the long winter go by.
Well we're all set for the opener. On Friday the docks, boat lift and boat are in. Friday evening there was a big storm and lots of rain. The Flowage is still about two to one and half feet down. Friday night we drove to the Lake of the Falls dam. Lots of small male walleyes up there. The DNR had all sorts of nets set up by the rapids.
Saturday Fluffy and I went for a boat ride. Was it nice to get out on open water. The water temp was 46. It sure surprised me to see very few people and hardly any docks or boats in. The only boats on the flowage were the DNR survey boats.
Sunday the DNR pulled all of their nets and also by the Lake of the Falls rapids. Don't know what that means, other than the walleye spawn is over?
Keep her head up,
