Thanks Mark.that one took a lot of zooming in and out to figure out where it was.
Thought I attached a picture, but it may have not worked.
Mark, I'll be sure to put something out there that you can guess at... Glad you enjoy, see ya one daze.
Here is the next one,
The channel the runs through long island aka mile long island aka sausage island. My dad and grandpa had several names for it.
Looking through the mess of islands northwest of Baraboo?
Neither answers are correct, please try again.
Going into horseshoe from the Manitowish river.
Looks like the last campsite up Beaver Creek...
Good job Blue, thought you may have forgotten your way around on the flowage. I thought everybody would have guested this one.
Ice is about half gone, but it froze back over this morning.
Have a good one,
Looking NE from Baraboo. Fisherman's landing is hidden in the background
Beaver flats.beaver creek to the left.rat lake to the right.
Gus, your correct. The picture was taken just north coming out of where Beaver Creek meets the Big Water on the south. Facing west, towards Rat Lake entrance and Lake Ten.
Here is another,
Sunset looking into lake ten.
Gus, are you the only one that knows the flowage?
Have another,
Thats on the east side of an island near beaver flats.
Your a long ways off.
Try again,
I'm pretty sure those are gulls! :D
is south of and next to the dam?
Is it the ' Rock Island ' on the left ( mainland ) going into the narrows prior to the Pink Rock ( North of Lake Bastine ) ? The pictures all remind me of where I wish I was now !
Tim
Rock Formation Just up the Turtle River from what was "Idle Shores Resort".
15 days to the opener!
Scott and Tim are both correct, good job.
There still is ice in this area and Bastine. It's about half gone, but with the six inches of snow we got Saturday didn't help.
Here is another
Is this the island over by sportsmens landing?
Gus, your way off the spot,
Island just east of the dam and north of Grassy Island.
No Scott, that isn't either, but I'm sure you've seen it.
Is that one of the islands south of Lake Ten near the entrance to Rat lake? I've lost some Shad Raps in that area, among other baits.
Actually I've lost a ton of stuff all over the TFF. If I ever bought an underwater camera, I'd be the only guy looking for tackle rather than fish.
DonH:
Don't use it looking for baits, you might lose it too!!!
Tiny:
The eagle looks nice though!!!
Mark
Yes I know I've seen it, as I even know where to pull in with the pontoon. So now I will say site C-10 in Merkle Lake.
Don, where have you been, this being your first guest? It is in the back of Lake Ten. There are three little islands in a row. Can't believe that Gus didn't guest that one. I've seen him back there many times.
All the ice went off yesterday, but it snow again last night.
I'm thinking that is looking here:
HRG
I have to agree with hot r guy-Bob S.
Thanks Tiny.I knew it but I just couldn't put my finger on it.As always lots of great pictures.week and a half to opener.can't wait.:)
Two rights and no wrongs.
Good job,
Looking north from the north end of the Mud Lake basin. I'm starting to think this whole game is a clever plot to point people away from the places where you actually catch fish...
Blue, didn't think I was that obvious. Notice there are no fish pictures, there is a reason.
Docks, lift and boat are going in this weekend.
Have a great daze,
straight east of the old Hiawatha resort, just north of the highlines.
tom
Is it in the narrows ? Your back is towards the big island looking towards the mainland . To the right is the Pink Rock and Left ( around corner , etc. ) is Lake Bastine ?
Two rights, pretty cool.
Have a great weekend,
Aw, c'mon Tiny. There's a hundred miles of shoreline that looks like that!
15 more days for me!
HRG
Is it going through the narrows towards Lake Bastine ? The shoreline is the ' Big Island ' and to your right in front would be the ' black rock ' ?
in the horseshoe looking west, sieferts point is on the left
