Boreal Bay - Spring improvements
A few of our Spring projects are well underway and should be wrapped up in the next couple weeks.
- New Hummingbird depth finders on our Crestliner rental boats along with some fresh new batteries for start and trolling motors.
- Another new Mercury 8HP for our Cedartree boats - we should be in great shape now with both Cedartree boats having these nice 8HP motors. Should be picking up the motor soon.
- We are going to try new futons to replace the couches in cabins 15, 16 & 17. I think these will work out well based on the wants/needs of our guests.
They should be arriving in a couple weeks.
- New energystar washers and dryers for the Lodge are probably not very exciting to our guests, but it is important to know we are making investments in things which use less energy and water. These are also supposed to be arriving in a couple weeks.
- New water filtration system, cartridge plus UV for the north half of the resort was brought on-line today. We will be looking at how to implement a similar change to the south half of the resort this fall.
- The Lodge is now stocked up with polarized sunglasses $8.00 pair and several more bass, northern pike and walleye lures. The Lodge is also well stocked with our Boreal Bay guide shirts and jackets (sorry, but our supplier couldn't come up with any 3XL's). The lodge also has some selection of small items often forgotten - toothbrushes, toothpaste etc. Check with us before having to make a drive to the store.
We have a few other projects in the works, but they have been delayed due to the availability of contractors. We should be moving along with these as quick as we can.
