Walleye Bite Tough Today

With still high winds blowing cold water from the East walleyes don't know its spring has started. Walleye fishn has been extremely tough for the last week, most fish are being caught using blade baits. The jig bite has been next to nothing. Walleyes are being caught on Locust Reef, Toosaint, Turtle and the Maumee Bay. Even in the Maumee River fishn has been slow to nothing due to high water and extremely cold water for this time of year, it can only get better very soon.
