March 16th Report

Wow, feels like spring might be here! Might as well be since snowmobile season is over....

Panfish are getting into full swing right now. Perch in mud, crappies and bluegill in shallow weeds. Just got out last night for the 2nd time in 4 days(I've been travelling the last 5 weekends for shows)...got a ton of bluegills(lots of small guys) and some super crappies on waxies and marmooska jigs.

I'll be out and about this week sucking up the nice weather...

Any early predictions on the date of ice out? I want to start planning that first trip up to Lost Lake to put the lift and pier in and do spring cleanup. Thanks.

I would say around April 15 to 20...but who knows.
