Sunday morning Musky Hunt

Mike, Lee and myself set sail for a musky hunt on Sunday morning. Those 2 were hoping to catch their first muskies on the river. We had some wet conditions to deal with but thankfully the lightning held off for us.

After a couple hours of washing lures, Lee had a hot fish show up late at boat side but peeled off and went under the boat. So, Lee kept his lure down deep and went into his second fig-8 when the fish came back out from under the boat and smoked his bait. After a very short fight, the fish was in the net.

Then, Mike decided to wait awhile before he caught his first:), so we fished another couple of hours with 0 action until the second fish hit. After a much longer battle than the first fish, Mike had his first musky. We fished until 12:30 and called it a day.
