We chased some big browns the other day…..

with super sunny skies/low clear water and had a pretty slow day. Lenny did find 1 brown in the mid-20’s but could not get him to eat at boatside (yes, these rutting browns will eat at boatside just like a musky). He had a hook up on a mid-teen fish but lost it after a few rolls. We didn’t even have an ‘accidental’ hook up all morning.

Water temps are abnormally warm and river is much lower than normal. We will chase muskies both days this weekend as long as the leaves are not a severe problem. Fingers crossed.
