6/17 Bass-Walleye Hunt

We had a pretty good morning but as soon as the sun got higher in the sky, the action really faded. Low river conditions, blue bird skies and clear water will do that to you! We netted 15-20 bass and 3 pike. The daytime walleye have been pretty elusive for my boat the past couple of outings. Dave did have a BIG walleye take a boatside swipe at him around 9:15. I could tell by his face he had just seen a nice specimen.

Beginning Saturday, will be fishing hard over the next couple of weeks. My night fishing trips will begin next Saturday and excited to see how they play out.
