July 13th and 14th fishing report

I took the weekend off to hang out with my brothers and beat up on my niece and nephew. I did get out on Saturday night with my brother Tait and Tyler Treeland. Tyler had a muskie go after one of Corey Meyer's "Flowage Boa" Spinnerbaits and then at the next spot lost one on the same bait. My brother had a really cool follow on a Pacemaker and it went around in the figure eight twice before finally eating it. After a pretty big jump we netted the 46 1/2 incher. Then we doubled back for the one Tyler lost and caught it on the same spinnerbait of Corey's. That one was 39 1/2 inches long. That was it for the night.

Yesterday we went out in the afternoon for some fish for a fish fry. We caught some big perch, some bluegill, a few crappie, and a bunch of walleye up to 25 inches. We kept a handful of good eating sized walleye and threw back the rest. They were biting really good.
