The ice is holding on great right now, there still is a little snow and slush on top. There was a truck out on Elk yesterday but 4 wheeler and foot traffic is recommended. It's starting to get a little soft on the very top layer and the Crappie started really getting active yesterday!!! So this is it, late ice a little early this year, with the 70's in forecast this week we won't have much time left.
