Ice Fishing Update 12/4/2010

Ice conditions, 3 to 5 inches.
Channel areas are less.

Anglers are hitting the Ice today, good reports on Walleyes from Nokomis. Fish the shallow bays with good weeds, 3 to 4 feet of water. Use regular golden shiners for bait with a glow treble hook size 10. The walleyes are chasing the small bluegills and Crappies through the weeds. Very nice fish being caught with a 27 inch beauty caught on Friday.

Lots of anglers on Lake Alice, good northern action and bluegills action, some reports on crappies.

Use caution as you head out.
