The Wisconsin River is home to many species of fish but this summer has been exceptionally good for catfish and some big ones as well. With the outstanding amount of catfish that we have been catching one can only try to estimate the number of fish in this body of water.

Awesome! Muskie Maria and I need to get down there and tangle with a few of those cats! What is the average/heaviest weight of the fish you've been catching?
The average weight has been 3 to 5 pounds with some real nice fish in the 8 to 12 pound range. We have also seen a couple of real giants that have gone over 20 pounds as well.
