Musky Legend

Today I had the pleasure of having Ted Peck on the water for a day of fishing as he wanted to write an article on the Wisconisn river. The more I thought about the trip I thought it would be great to have the Musky Legend Bill Melanson come with. Ted thought it would be a great idea.
Bill got me started Guiding 11 years ago and today was the first day In all those years I was able to guide him. We started the day of catching some nice bass on musky baits. The musky bite was a little slow at first and then they turned on. We saw several fish but were unable to land them. Then all of a sudden Bill holler's got one we look over a the fight was on. Bill got the musky to the boat and into the net. We took some pictures and released the musky to be caught another day. I gave Bill a hand shake and said job well done. I have fished many days on the water but I have to say this was one of the best. I remember the day when Bill took me Musky fishing for the first time 15 years ago I was only 15 years old.
Take a Kid fishing you never no where they will end up here I am 11 years later still enjoying every minute of it.

Kurt, I have know Bill for almost 20 years and have had the pleasure of fishing with him a couple of times. You won't find a better, first class fisherman anywere. You are very luck to have him as a mentor. Please give him my regards to him.....Nick
