Hansen Outing

I had Dave and Alex Hansen out for their annual father son fishing day on Saturday. This trip like every one of our trips was filled with great fishing and lots lots of nice fish being caught along with some new water learned.

We boated walleye, crappie, bass, and perch during our trip and Dave and Alex went home with a nice pile of fish for the dinner table. But that was not the entire day it was filled with some eventful moments as well:

Today was Alex's 18th birthday. Happy Birthday Alex!!!

Alex went into the river after a big fish got him tangled up in the brush see photo.

We had a very good lunch at The Dock of Dubay previously Tia's Pop a Top but now under new ownership.

And of course the two big ones that got away. One due to a big fish breaking the line and the other due to a missed netting opportunty.

All in all we had a very good day on the water and are looking forward to our next trip.
