Fishing Report June 02
Another great day at Witch Bay. We stared the morning picking up a few walleyes for the camp shore lunch, lunch was of coarse excellent. After lunch we took a trip to the narrows for some bass fishing, I had two other boats with me and we had trouble getting the bass to bite. The three boats only found 6 bass and two northerns in about an hour and a half of fishing. The bass were not on the beds but were not willing to bite either. We finished the day fishing a point at starter island and did very well on the walleyes.

Dick,
What was the water temp at Starter Island and how deep were the walleyes that you were catching there? Thanks and looking forward to getting there this weekend.

The temp was 59 the same as it is in our bays. The eyes have been getting a little deeper over the past few days we were in 25 o 30 ft. One of the boats did catch a nice walleye on a crankbait while we were bass fishing.
Another group in camp had a good morning yesterday in the clam cut, but they shut down in the afternoon.
